Horse Racing Tips For Newcastle and Kempton (June 2nd)

Here are today’s selections. I’ll be keeping an eye on the market and won’t bet any that drifts over 6.0.

1:35K: Olympic Conqueror

Fanshawe has an excellent record at the course. Jockey is a stable jockey so looks good. He is relatively unexposed.

Here’s what Sporting Life says:

‘Just 2lb higher (for last win) and could be more to come with this trip to suit.’

He is currently 6.6 on Betfair. I will only back him near the off if he goes off below 6.0

2:10K: Grandfather Tom

Cowell has a great record at Kempton. They’re trying a new jockey today and that could be the key.

Timeform says:

‘He took his form to a new level last year, and given he won on his reappearance, an absence is no concern. ‘

Currently 5.4 on Betfair. Again I won’t back if he drifts above 6.0

2:30N: Mubakker

Sir Michael Stoute had a very good winner yesterday so is in fine form and his stats at Newcastle are unbelievable. This is definitely worth backing!

Here’s what Sporting Life says:

‘Cost $500,000 as a juvenile and is unbeaten on the AW – easily landing a pair of 6f novice contests at Wolverhampton and Kempton; dwelt when sent off favourite on handicap debut at Ascot (6f, soft) last October; retains plenty of potential.’

Good luck!
